On dreams

Remember when you were little? When everything seemed possible? When your fantasies flowed into your reality and sometimes you couldn’t even tell the difference? When it came to your dreams things were easy. You just did what you liked and didn’t think much about the ‘buts’ and ‘what-ifs’.  So why does that change when you grow up? I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and about dreams in general. It’s what made me draw up this little doodle. I know it really isn't much and that is what made me realize that a doodle wouldn't be enough to get my musings about dreams out there. So, I decided to give writing them down a try. This is the result.

DIY: Wall Decor from Old Magazines

I love magazines. I love looking at gorgeous fashion shoots, reading witty columns and finding out about Taylor Swift’s  latest fling (guilty pleasure!). Unfortunately, this love has led to the creation of a massive pile in my already small room  of Cosmos and ELLEs, some of which date over two years back. Since I couldn’t get myself to throw them all out, I decided to come up with a ‘creative’ solution; DIY’ing that pile away! I realized that my magazines could be used to make a really simple, but cute wall decoration. And it doesn’t end there. This really easy technique can be used to decorate cards, notebooks and even picture frames – so I can put that whole pile to good use!
